Unbelievable!

I just found out why the sale of my home is falling through! The second appraiser that the lender hired miscalculated the square footage of my home. He assumed it was 2200 square feet. In reality, it is 3400 square feet PLUS an 800 square foot basement. No wonder his valuation was so low!

Unfortunately, I doubt this discovery will make a difference at this point. All I can hope is that the appraisal for the next buyer should come in just fine IF they know what they're doing.

The diet is still going well. No new weight loss, but the pants are hanging loose and I may need to go clothes shopping in the next week or two, or buy some belts!
