I couldn't wait to get home from work, finish dinner and have a moment to play with my new lens. No more than two shots were taken in the front yard, when an old friend showed up in the driveway, Marilyn, a former co-worker. We gave her the tour of our home and then had dinner. Afterward, I took the camera back outside in search of that illusive praying mantis that was no longer to be found.
Oh well, I took a picture of a flower in my hand with my fingernails.
